Removing bike lanes in Toronto is a massive step backward for a city striving to be more livable, sustainable, and safe. Doug Ford’s push to eliminate them ignores the countless benefits they provide: reducing traffic congestion, improving safety for cyclists and drivers alike, and promoting greener transportation. We’ve seen how bike lanes encourage healthier lifestyles and lower emissions—why would we want to undo that progress? Toronto deserves infrastructure that works for everyone, not just cars. Let’s keep moving forward, not backward!
