The removal of existing bike lanes in Toronto on major roads is not only a waste of taxpayer resources but a vindictive play that doesn't consider the Toronto citizens that use alternative forms of transportation.
Bike lanes are about safety. Removing bike lanes will not alleviate car traffic and will only compound congestion. Reports have already been published that prioritizing car transportation will not alleviate traffic.
This move is pathetic, vindictive and wasteful.
