I’m a resident of Toronto. I have a baby daughter and I wish for her to have a city that is safe and easy to bike through when she grows up. Biking will help her stay healthy, go to places on her own and be independent. Isn’t that what we should for in our cities?
If certain neighbourhoods have complaints about bike lanes, let’s figure out a solution separately. Don’t penalize all the other neighbourhoods in this province who love and use their bike lanes. Please let’s not step back in time when we have so much more work to do to get world class bike lanes. Isn’t that what Ontario should aim for - being a world class province?
