I strongly oppose this act, which would be counterproductive and actually increase gridlock by 1) making more people drive instead of bike, increasing traffic, and 2) making cyclists take up space in car lanes, also slowing traffic down. The province does not need to engage in this issue, which should instead be resolved through municipal politics.
