If I'm truly honest, I moved to Toronto for the bike lanes. It is the one city that I feel safe traveling by bike in. I'm not able to drive due to health issues and traveling by bike is so incredibly empowering and has given me a new sense of mobility. Removing these life saving bike lanes would be devastating to the mobility of so many other folks like me.
We don't want to see more cars on the road and I'm worried that's what will happen if we remove these crucial pieces of infrastructure.
