Data shows that bike lanes reduce gridlock and increase road safety. Removing popular bike lanes in Toronto will directly lead to loss of life and do nothing for congestion. This politically motivated policy is dangerous and shameful. The provincial government should allow the city to manage bike lane policy in accordance with data-driven strategies.
