Removing bike lanes is a terrible idea.
Many Torontonians want to do what they can to reduce the harm to our environment caused by cars. It is particularly troubling to think that many cars have only one person in them while they create a great deal of pollution by driving around the city every day.
Bike lanes encourage people to look after their physical and mental health by cycling instead of driving. This helps society in general.
Removing the bike lanes on Bloor, University and Yonge would be very harmful to our city.
