We should not be building highways through environmentally protected areas.
Individual cars are much less efficient means of travel than trains and busses. We should be expanding the range of our go trains. We should be linking our out of city go train stops to local transit.
We should also not be allowing folk who live outside of cities to lay the law of how cities build their infrastructure. The bike lanes are vital for all who live in the cities as avenues for transit and excercise.
We should be making safe places for folks who bike. They reduce traffic, emissions and promote a healthy populace.
