There are few things stupider than paying taxpayer money to rip out bike lanes that provide safety for cyclists and pedestrians, and give drivers a safe buffer to drive at ease without fear of an accident.
Cyclists will clog up traffic if the bike lanes are removed, but, most importantly, collisions causing injury and death to cyclists and pedestrians are at an all-time high, and it is reckless to remove the only buffer we have to keep people safe.
