This is a huge provincial overstep in what should be strictly city planning. As a disabled person who infrequently uses bike lanes, even I can see the glaring safety issues, not least the negative impact on liveable cities. We should be increasing green policies and not catering to people who don’t see the longterm value of environmentally intelligent urban design. I strongly oppose this proposal.
