We need more bike infrastructure for safety, not less. Too many cyclists have lost their lives sharing roads with cars - protected bike lanes save lives. It's absurd to make bike lanes harder to build, especially when they replace car lanes that were just being used for parking. At least bikes keep people moving! Instead of discouraging cycling, we should expand public transit with better trains and bus services to reduce gridlock. Making it harder to bike across the city is not the solution.
