The lack of respect for cyclists by many vehicle drivers will only be accentuated by the removal of bike lanes. Cyclists are safe in bike lanes, for the most part.
Why should we go backward in the adoption of clean bicycle transportation? Fix public transit if you want to reduce traffic congestion! And act like a worldly, forward-planning province on behalf of the city of Toronto.
