Thank you for reading my comment. I live in downtown Toronto just south of Bloor St and Ossington Ave. I know about bike lanes because I watch people who use them every day, a number of times a day. Where I live, they are the safest way to ride a bicycle.
My son has been riding a bike in Toronto since before the bike lanes were built. What a sigh of relief I had when he came home and was so thrilled because it was safer than riding in car traffic.
I am thinking about starting a group called "Drivers for Bike Lanes" because when I drive, I like order. I like people staying in their own lanes and driving at the speed limit. Bike lanes stop drivers who are angry at people on bikes.
I predict chaos if these lanes are removed. There will be way less order and you can't get anywhere fast in a car when there is no order!
