If, as the title of this bill suggests, the province is interested in reducing gridlock then there is a super clear way forward: build more bike lanes! Improve public transport! You don’t even need research for this to make sense - intuitively, if more people are cycling or using public transport then fewer people are driving. But thankfully there is research proving exactly this point. See attached for just one article. Build MORE bike lanes, not fewer.
