As a road user who primarily cycles and occasionally drives or takes transit to make a living I find it absurd that this bill proposes to reduce bike lanes. This is infrastructure that ensures safety and also reduces congestion. Removing existing infrastructure for bike lanes and safer streets is an insult to taxpayers and anyone who has suffered injuries or lost loved ones due to unsafe driving and roadways. This government should focus on safety above convenience.
