This proposal is irresponsible and should be withdrawn. There is no good reason to divert sewage into Lake Ontario where it will cause harm to those who use the lake, not to mention. the lake itself. Secondly, this is another case of provincial over-reach. Toronto has policies, processes and infrastructure in place to deal with sewage in a responsible manner. This proposal over-rides the legitimate municipal jurisdiction of sewage management, which is designed to protect the health of our citizens and the environment.
