Everything is wrong with this project. The stakes are especially high for those of us who live in the neighbouring communities and use OP as a green space. I don’t want sewage flowing into the beaches around the West Island. So I am writing to formally oppose the interim combined sewer for Ontario Place. It goes against international agreements on water quality and protection for the Great Lakes. It risks public health and decreases the quality of our water. It makes the water unsafe for vulnerable waterfront lifeguards. No proper environmental assessments have been completed so we do not have a full picture of the negative impact this will have on wildlife including aquatic. Overall, this is only benefiting Ford’s agenda and ibis wealthy friends and business associates. I don’t want raw NOT WANT ANY OF MY TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO GO TOWARDS THIS UNETHICAL AND HARMFUL PROJECT
