I am strongly opposed to…

I am strongly opposed to this motion as someone who lives, works, and raises children in this community. I am concerned not only for the impact this landfill will have on our water sources, farmlands, and animals but also the impact it will have on the health of the population of Dresden and surrounding area. I do not want my children going to school less than a kilometer from a landfill where they will be disposing of hazardous materials that will be detrimental to their health. If I proposed Doug Ford put a dump like this in his back yard would he still think it's a good idea? We are a small town but that doesn't mean we DON'T STILL COUNT.
