To say I am disheartened to…

To say I am disheartened to hear that the extensive Environmental Assessment now does not have to be completed is putting it mildly. Maybe more dumps are needed in Ontario but this is NOT the spot for one. To be so close to the town of Dresden and have hundreds of trucks per day bringing garbage that is not ours to this dump is totally unacceptable and ludicrous on so many levels….environmentally, financially, logistically, medically. People’s lives and health are at stake here. I don’t want to be treated the way I see many Americans today are being treated by their politicians - where money matters more than human beings. I pray to God that He will protect our town from this horde that is trying to come and destroy it.
