This is a dangerous game, Dresden being used for a dumping ground so close to the Sydenham and agricultural rich area can cause extreme harm. Not to mention Walpole island indigenous lands nearby.
Clearly someone is playing a game to avoid the environmental impact study. Buyers selling to a corp owned by the same buyers to shove this project through with no concern for the community residents or environmental impact.
This area has suffered enough with damage to water wells from govt approved windmill projects with many people still unable to safely use their well water.
This isn’t a “we don’t want it in our backyard” issue, this is a “we can’t afford the dangers of this project” .. Ontario is a massive province and 2 hrs in a few directions are remote small towns that could manage this project without the same potential harm as we would face here
