I am writing to add my name and comments to the list of people who are appalled that our provincial government is seeking to bypass environmental assessments in the case of the proposed Dresden dump. You put the rules in place in order to protect our people as well as land and waterways from toxins... and now propose to overlook these very same protocols.

This site sits near a high school and waterways that will enable toxic substances to leech in to areas far away from the site itself. The people as well as the Municipality of Chatham-Kent have voiced opposition to this dump. Why are you, the ELECTED SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE OF ONTARIO, now acting like bullies and forcing something that is not wanted, is bound to cause danger to the people living and working in the area?
