This is a shameful gutting of hard-won protections of species at risk, and is extremely short-sighted. This is a pursuit of short-term economic gains at the expense of potential extinction of numerous species.
The proposed new definition of "habitat" is laughable, and is woefully inadequate to support future well being of all species, not just those at risk.
This proposed regulation and revision to/repeal of the ESA is clearly pandering to developers. You need to do better as a government to serve current and future generations, not just corporate interests.
