This fast tracking law will do more harm than good. Allowing companies to proceed on projects without oversight or regulations will hurt the nearby residents and probably the environment. You cannot have harmony between business's and residents when laws are being made by a single source 300km away. If this law is enacted then companies and residents will be at war over the harmful activities of a rogue company. More oversight and power should be given to the municipalities where projects are being considered. There is no King in Ontario who sits on a throne in Toronto telling the rural residents what they must accept and die with.
