This change not only puts a greater risk to Ontario waterways and wild life but also puts at risk the agriculture industry in this area.
Not having a full environmental assessment takes away the voice of the people who would be affected by this waste dump. This includes Lambton county, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, specifically Dresden residents but not limited to them. Also Wallaceburg, Tupperville, Thamesville, and Walpole island to name a few.
It is the job of our elected officials to serve the people. We, the people are speaking out, will our elected officials listen.
