This proposal is a danger to an entire town. Not just a few homes in the nearby vicinity, but an entire town stands to suffer dangerous health consequences from this.
My spouse suffers severely with COPD and this will definitely destroy what little is left of their capacity to breathe.
The danger of methane gas, asbestos particles etc will affect not just me but the entire community.
Two schools are in very close proximity to this site. They are well within the government regulations of 3 km, one being much less than a kilometre from the boundary.
Please, please do not allow this to destroy us. IT IS WELL DOCUMENTED THE ADVERSE EFFECTS A LANDFILL HAS ON HUMAN LIFE.
I oppose this proposal.
