The thought of removing environmental assessments on any and all new or existing contrustruction in Canada is repulsive. We as Canadians pride ourselves on our environment and communities and this seems like an awful way to deal with the Tariffs. Solely due to the fact that it is so close to a thriving community, a beautiful natural waterway, and endangered species. I do not want this company to open a land fill at all in the community but to do so with as minimal effort as removing an assessment is disgusting. I'm ashamed in the leaders of this Country and Province for allowing this to get this far. We are Canada. We can do better.
