I am entirely and unequivocally OPPOSED to Bill 5. I want stronger protection for endangered species and the environment because I LIVE THERE. I want energy sources that don't require franking and destruction of the environment because I LIVE THERE. We ALL live there. I am completely against creating and allowing shortcuts for industry to exploit our home and the people who live here for relentless capital gain.

I am especially concerned about the language surrounding exemptions for "trusted proponents" - trusted by whom? By the premier? Certainly not by me, a person who lives and works in Ontario. This sounds like a way for someone to prioritize their friends' niche economic interests over everyone else who lives in the province. I implore you to recognize that this would harm not just the environment, but *everyone who lives here,* not just now but in perpetuity.
