Scrapping the Endangered Species Act is a destructive idea that will only result in worsened environmental consequences for Ontario in the future. If you really care about protecting Ontario, you need to listen to the many ecologists, biogists, etc. urging you to stop this. Protections for animals such as migratory species, vulnerable species, etc. are much more important than politicians understand - even more important than money (shocking to someone who wants to bulldoze through the greenbelt, I know).
