Protecting nature is not a barrier to economic growth. It’s the foundation of a healthy, resilient and just society. People love coming to Ontario to tour the beautiful land. If you destroy it, tourism will be affected.
Our government has claimed to be for the worker and for small businesses. If you pass Bill 5 you will destroy farmers, people who rely on nature for their business, people involved in enacting the legislation that protects us and our wonderful Ontario and way of life.
Instead of building more roads that encourage more car travel, let's build rail transport.
Let's encourage buying local food and supporting ways to help us grow more food (specialized greenhouses).
Let's pull together a group of experts to help us do better and grow the economy in a responsible way.
We need transparency and governing with consultation.
I do not agree with Bill 5.
