As a resident of Ontario, I am against the special economic zones proposal.

Regulations, permits, processes, and similar help ensure the health and safety of the people and the environment. Bypassing these is analogous to ignoring safety procedures when performing hazardous tasks. The task may be done faster, but at what consequence? Especially long-term consequences that are not visible immediately.
