I strongly oppose the open Hunting Season for the Double-crested-Comorants. As the miss- guided believe that the Comorants are depleting Fish in Ontario's Lakes and rivers , there has been no studies proving this concept. However there has been studies on the environmental contamination in Ontario's Great Lakes and Rivers as to how many Fish are save for Human consumption . There has been no consideration given of the Asian Carp invading Ontario's Lakes and Rivers and the destruction of our Fish population . The hunting Season in Ontario for Comorants is not in the best interest without any further concrete Studies on the impact on our fish and ecosystem . Therefore, I strongly oppose to the senseless open hunting season our Comorants.
