Nobody wants this, except you’re rich developer friends. The government is supposed to be a steward for future generations and selling off the longest freshwater beach in the world and destroying habitat is not protecting the environment for future generations. Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent out with Sega Beach and I want my child to be able to have those memories. Moreover, no one can live on a dead planet. There are ways to revitalize Wasaga beach by promoting it, and you guys could do that. You did not spend any money promoting the beach. You have not spent any effort trying to help the municipality. Your goal is to sell it off so that your friends can get richer. We see this with the green belt scandal, and Ontario place. This is clearly corruption and bad environmental stewardship. Do not do this!
