I have been raising my family for the past 10 years in Allendeood beach area and strongly oppose the proposed transfer from the provincial parks program to accomodate potential commercial/tourist development. This area is largely residential and there has been a constant transition from seasonal residents to full time residents with young families in this area for the past 10 years we were here. We already deal with many nuisances during the summer season from illegal parking, littering, traffic infractions from the visitors in the summer season. It would be unfair to favour the needs of the short term visitors over the long time residents. Residents of this area including young families and retirees deserve respect for the home we chose and as a result respectfully submitting this opposition.
