As an avid user of the provincial parks, I absolutely do not support this amendment. Provincial parks, and the acts associated with them, are important for protecting and preserving important ecosystems and local history. These changes set a dangerous precedent for not only the Wasaga Beach area, but also for other provincial parks and protected locations. Our beautiful provincial parks are part of what makes Ontario such an amazing province, and are what has kept me choosing to spend my vacation time in this province for years. The way to increase and support tourism is not to destroy any of our parks.
