Wasaga beach is the MOST important nesting habitat within Ontario for the endangered Piping Plover. This sale further endangers them and their habitat. I do NOT think this is a good idea - especially with Bill 5 passing recently, yet another threat to them. I absolutely do not agree with this, and think it should remain under MECP control. If the buildings are so important, the Ontario government should fund their repair, not the MECP - they already lack budget spending where it is most important ... in protecting our species.
