Don't put the interests of well-connected, wealthy developers ahead of people, places and wildlife. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park isn’t just a summer destination, it’s one of the last remaining nesting grounds for the endangered Piping Plover in Ontario. These tiny shorebirds have made a fragile comeback since 2007, thanks to years of careful stewardship and protection.
Don't sell chunks of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park for development. That land includes critical nesting habitat for the Piping Plover, which could be lost forever if this goes through.
The provincial parks should not be available to sell to developers. That's shameful and disrespectful to the people of Ontario who care about nature and wild spaces.
