Selling parklands will have a negative impact not only on surrounding residents but also on persons as a whole given that such a sale will deprive both animals and persons of needed open space and replace that with additional housing and further development. In a time when our very existence is threatened by overcrowding and the disappearing of needed clean air, further development like that suggested can only be seen as negative.
