The chunks of Wasaga Beach Provincial park that you want to sell to developers are one of the last remaining nesting grounds for the endangered Piping Plover in Ontario. Losing critical nesting habitat, the Piping Plover could be lost forever if this goes through.
Provincial parks are not the Premier´s or parliament´s private property to sell as they want, they belong to all of us. They are spaces Ontario communities rely on for recreation, connection, and climate resilience. They are a treasure we should preserve for all of us and for generations to come.
I am not a specialist, just a concerned citizen, worried to see our natural spaces recklessly destroyed.
