I am opposed to this proposal.
Parks are intended to highlight and preserve. Parks and wild spaces, wetlands in particular, are the bottom of our food chain, key reservoirs of water, and provide clean air. It is in the interest of all to preserve more than we already have.
I was personally unaware that this park exists until today. I am liable to visit in the near future out of general curiosity and to witness the restoration of the Piping Plover.
