To The Ministry of Environment and Doug Ford,
Once again public land is being taken away from the people of Ontario for private interest and profit. This trend is alarming to myself and many of your constituents who believe that these spaces should be protected for future generations.
Also at risk is a habitat for a species at risk that is endangered. This Government has deemed these species unimportant but again this incorrect as again we as the people you serve believe differently. Once the Piping Plover is gone because of unchecked development it is another loss added to the list of disappearing species and diversity.
With all the land available to developers why must we lose public land to developers? These are choices that do not reflect the majority of Ontarians but a minority.
I hope that this does not happen and that the Ministry does not allow this grievous development to occur.
Thank you,
A Concerned Citizen of Ontario
