I do not support the development of Wasaga Beach for tourist or recreation purposes. The beach is critical and fragile nesting habitat for the endangered piping plover, which is an indicator species and it's well-being is massively important. We should not be prioritizing a tourist experience in a fragile ecosystem over the needs of endangered species. There are other places that tourists can go for a nature experience that would not involve destroying critical habitat. It would be extremely irresponsible and against public interest.
