The Beach is a provincial park, open to every single resident or visitor. If town takes over, they will control who can go on the beach. With this current council it will be made private (only condo owners & hotel guests) & not even town residents will be permitted to access it. That is my fear. People have been coming to this beach for over 100 years, long before village/town of Wasaga even existed. It should remain a public provincial park.
