As someone who visits Wasaga Beach regularly, I would say that it is shameful that the town and province would trade a natural wonder for glass and steel monstrosities all in the name of commerce. Once the shoreline is developed, how will day trippers like myself be able to enjoy the beauty of the bay? Will there be public access to the entire shoreline, or will we all be crowded into a public are too small for the crowds?
As a citizen of Ontario, I am totally against this shameful exploitation. Leave the beaches alone!
