It is unbelievable to me that this proposal is even being considered. We are already experiencing the effects of climate change, which is somewhat mitigated by wetlands such as those at Wasaga. Tourists come for the natural beauty and public beaches. Once this land is developed, it’s lost forever, along with critical habitat and with it, endangered species.
It’s another example of Doug Ford favouring developers and I am totally against these amendments.
