I'm strongly opposed to amending the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006, (PPCRA) for the purposes for promoting development and tourism at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. This area is critical habitat for the endangered Piping Plover. There's a high probability that the Piping Plover habitat will be affected by increased human activity in this area. There's no justification for risking the persistence of this Endangered animal.
