What is happening to the protected plovers’ nesting area in Beach area one? There are tons of areas that could use redevelopment in Wasaga Beach among the main drag and roads/areas around the beach without affecting the beach. Please leave the provincial parks as a “park”. We need green space and vegetation. Let’s not turn Wasaga Beach into Miami Beach, which I think Ford wants to do.
Allenwood was the “secret” beach for years that people liked because it’s quieter and less developed. Development is going to ruin that vibe. Allenwood is a little far from Wasaga’s main drag too, so let’s leave it beach and built up and revitalize the town… but leave the waterfront beaches and parks alone.
