This decision will set off a domino effect of undercuts to our prized provincial parks. It will chip away at precious conservation land that is well used and well loved by Ontarians. This popular green space is also a highly successful habitat for at risk species, such a as the Piping Plover. Over development of this land will see unique species disappear, over development will degrade the water quality, over development means conservation land set aside for the benefit and enjoyment of Ontarians will be taken away from us. There is no going back from this. Ontarians do not want this. Our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren will not want this. I urge you to keep protecting conservation land for Ontario's sake.
