Proposed changes to provide flexibility for water taking activities

The PROPOSED CHANGES are PLACING CORPORATE PROFITS BFORE ONTARIANS’ SAFETY

The proposed changes are putting the health and safety of Ontario drinking water at risk!
Putting our water at risk, puts Ontarian’s health at risk. (**Remember Walkerton**).

Flexibility and streamlining the process opens the door to error and the process weakens Ontario’s water policy framework and water management procedures.

Not requiring companies to apply for a permit after they change their names, is a way for companies to avoid accountability if their past actions have resulted in detrimental effects (environment, infrastructure…).

We need FULL Environmental Reviews and OPEN Public Participation when companies apply to take water.

Without clean water we have nothing.
