Please protect the beach for the highly endangered Piping Plovers. There are only 14 pairs nesting in all of Ontario. For the last 18 years a Piping Plovers pair have nested at Wasaga Beach. One of the biggest threats to their survival is loss of appropriate habitat to nest and feed on the bugs on the beach. Please protect their habitat. They have also become a proud attraction for Wasaga Beach and an inspiration of survival.
