Absolutely not. This is another move bu the conservative government to remove lands from the protection and control of one provincial act and put it under another provincial act, under the guise of improving our economy, or in this case, Wassaga's economy. We can guess that removing these lands from the protection of one act and putting them under the protection of another act, but keeping the lands under the control of the conservative government means that down the road these lands will be sold to private interests who don't care about piping plovers, only profit.
